TSA Worker Accused of Helping Drug Traffickers Get Past Security

BUFFALO, NY -- Federal agents arrested a TSA agent at Buffalo's Niagara International Airport on Tuesday for allegedly helping a drug dealers pass through security.

According to the Buffalo News, agents with the FBI and DEA had been watching 43-year old Minneta Walker for months.

On Tuesday, agents moved in, arresting Walker and an alleged drug dealer.

Walker, a 9-year TSA veteran pleaded not guilty in court this afternoon.

The Buffalo News writes "police said she is alleged to have assisted 'known drug traffickers' with information and with getting through airport security checkpoints."

This isn't the first scandal for the TSA in New York.

In January, a Buffalo transit cop admitted to taking home confiscated items, such as nail clippers and tweezers from TSA security.

And last month, two TSA workers at New York's JFK airport admitted stealing nearly $40,000 from passengers.
